New retirees are honored in Nova Iguaçu
To celebrate the years of dedication to Iguaçuan civil service, the New Iguaçu Municipal Servers Welfare Institute (Previni) honored, on Wednesday (16), about 30 newlyholders for services provided to the municipality. The event was attended by the mayor of Nova Iguaçu, Dudu Reina, and the CEO of Previni, Eduardo de Oliveira.
This is the first group of retired servers honored in 2025. It is expected that by the end of the year at least two more solemnities will be performed by Previni. In addition, they and the servers still active, but close to retirement will be prepared for this transition through the Retirement Preparation Program (PPA) and the Post-Carrier Program (PPC).
“We will teach lectures to prepare these servers for this transition from activity to inactivity. We will have projects to talk about careers and we will promote various activities so that we approach our servers about to retire and inactive,” says Previni's CEO Eduardo Oliveira.
In addition to the newcomers, the institute also honored Eduardo José Costa de Oliveira, a municipal servant over five decades and retired since 1998. He has received the certificate of his own son, Mayor Dudu Reina.
“My father dedicated, in an exemplary way, 55 years to public life, as well as my grandfather. I was raised in this environment and I know how much love is, how dedication of those who worked a life for this municipality. I have a respect for everyone who built our history and a commitment, for the next four years, to keep the salaries of our inactive servers, as well as the active and pensioners,” said Dudu Reina.
