Just over a month after being launched by the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services (MGI), the Contract+Brazil platform goes at the disposal of municipal, state and federal government to expedite the hiring of individual microentrepreneurs (MEIs), in the provision of maintenance services and minor repairs. Each day, the platform expands new business opportunities between Meis and the public sector, as occurred last week in the south of Minas Gerais, in the small town of Lambari.
There, for over 15 years, Leandro Borges has been a small company that provides services in the area of electrical climatization and tells how was his experience with Contract+Brazil. “By chance, zaping over the internet, I learned of the launch of this platform and went back to know. By coincidence, I had a demand here in Lambari and I was ready for the service. I ended up being the selected MEI and found the whole process very practical, simple and effective. Now I follow the platform so that I can be participating again and thus improving my income,” he said.
Leandro cleaned seven air conditioners in the city's public water and sewage company, and both his service and Brazil were well praised. “The hiring process was agile, transparent and simplified, which allowed us to meet our need in a timely manner, ensuring the continuity of our services without interruptions. The practicality of the tool and the quality of service made the experience even more satisfactory,” explained the director of the Autonomous Lambari Water and Sewage Service, Adalberto Luiz da Silva.

The MGI has so far registers the adhesion of 234 public institutions contracting the platform, including organs of 168 municipalities, such as municipalities, municipal councils and other entities. Currently, more than 1420 meis registered in Contract+Brazil are already able to offer proposals and meet the demands of services available in your city. In addition, about 85 business opportunities were launched on the platform, and 25 of them have already been completed. Among the contracted services are the installation and maintenance of air conditioning, electrician, painter and plumber.
