MS government guarantees R $ 38 million in new agreements with Campo Grande for works in Nova Lima and Anhanduí Stream

The Government of Mato Grosso do Sul remains firm in the commitment to strengthen partnerships with municipalities, promoting urban development and quality of life for the population. On Tuesday (15) were published in the State Official Gazette (DOE) two new agreements signed between the State Agency of Empreendimento Management (Agesul) and the City Hall of Campo Grande, which total an investment of R $ 37,940,210.41.

The funds will be allocated to the continuation of paving and road qualification works in the Nova Lima III neighborhoods – Step C1, Nova Lima IV – Vila Nasser Stage – Step A, in addition to the expansion of rainwater management actions in the Anhanduí Stream, which are part of the Growth Acceleration Program (PAC II).

Nova Lima's agreement provides for the transfer of R $ 27,485,415.8, concluding the total paving of the neighborhood, with 21 months. Already the agreement focused on the Anhanduí Stream is R $ 10,454,794.57, also with a term of 21 months.

According to the state secretary of Infrastructure and Logistics (Seilog), Guilherme Alcântara, the new contributions reinforce the role of the state as an active partner in improving the living conditions of the Campo Grande population.

“We are guaranteeing important resources to unlock works that directly impact people's lives. Campo Grande is a priority for the government, and these contributions are the result of integrated management that understands the real needs of neighborhoods and the population,” said the secretary.

The works in Nova Lima, started with state support in 2017, have been receiving constant reinforcements over the years. In the Anhanduí Stream, investments reinforce their commitment to water security and flood prevention, benefiting thousands of families in the region.

These previous transfers made by the State Government total R $ 41,574,522.54 for structuring works in various neighborhoods, including the Nova Lima region and the Anhanduí Stream, consolidating a policy of strengthening urban infrastructure actions. Previous investments have enabled the advancement of several stages of the works and now receive new impetus for their conclusion.
