This week, teams from the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services (MGI) participated in events in Goiás, Acre, Rio Grande do Norte and Minas Gerais, promoting the Contract+Brazil platform with municipalities and federal agencies.
In Goiânia, on April 8, the innovative platform was presented at the Court of Auditors of the municipalities of Goiás (TCMGO) to entities such as Goiana Association of Municipalities (AGM), Goiás Federation of Municipalities (FGM), Court of Auditors of the State of Goiás (TCE-GO) and Federation of Commerce of Goods, Services and Tourism of the State of Goiás (Fecomércio-GO).
The director of Standards and Logistics Systems of the Secretariat of Management and Innovation (DELOG/Seges), Everton Santos, and the Contract+Brazil Project Manager (Delog/Seges), Vinícius Gerassass, represented the MGI, highlighting the importance of dialogue with local entities to strengthen public hiring. “We left the meeting with the commitment of TCMGO to join Contract+Brazil and to start the use of the tool,” said Eventen Santos.

On April 10, Enzo Tessarolo, head of the MGI Federative Cooperation Advisory, presented Contract+Brazil at the 1st State Meeting of Municipal Secretariats for Economic Planning and Development and Communication, in Rio Branco, Acre, to representatives of the 22 municipalities of the state. “MGI and teams have traveled to Brazil to understand local needs and facilitate the journey of managers who are starting the mandate now. We have taken advantage of national and regional forums and meetings to share our catalog of federative solutions with a special highlight for Contract+Brazil, which is a solution that simplifies public hiring and moves local economies,” he said.

In Natal, the project was presented during the 3rd Potiguares Municipalities Congress, which took place from April 9 to 11. The General Coordinator of Strategic Management of Delog/Seges, Marcelo Pontes, conducted the presentations and highlighted the importance of direct contact with the managers. At the MGI booth, several municipalities adhered to the Integrated General Services Administration System (SIASG) during the event, with remote support from the Access Management System (SGA) team, an important step in enabling adhesion to Contract+Brazil.
Still in Natal, on April 9, Marcelo Pontes also participated in the 3rd Forum of Federal Managers in Rio Grande do Norte, presenting the tool to representatives of federal agencies, who reported difficulties with routine hiring and saw in Contract+Brazil a practical solution.
The presentation in Minas Gerais took place at the National Forum of Pro-Rectors of Planning and Administration (ForPlad), Southeast Regional Edition, based by the Federal University of São João Del-Rei (UFSJ), on April 10 and 11. The meeting brought together pro-rectors of planning, administration and finance from federal universities. At the time, director Everton Santos highlighted the potential of the platform to meet demands from federal education institutions and for repair and preservation of historical heritage in the region.
Promoting the local economy
20. What services can I hire through the platform?
“Intuitive and simple to hire”, Contract+Brazil completes a month of operation – hires more Brazil
Contract+Brazil has a direct impact on the economy of municipalities, facilitating the hiring of services provided by local microentrepreneurs (MEIs). A concrete example was recorded during the 3rd Connects Potiguares municipalities, with the adhesion of the municipality of Purity to Siasg. “Many meis want to work with the city, but the processes are so complicated that they end up leaving. This will be an important tool to give our people more opportunity,” said Mayor Ricardo Brito.
This potential was also recognized by João Batista, Secretary of Bidding of São Gonçalo do Amarante, the first municipality of RN to join the program. “We adhere to Contract+Brazil because we believe in the modernization of public purchases to value entrepreneurship and the local economy. We have more than 7,000 MEIs, and the program fosters their access to public hiring, which is another strategic and innovative action of the City Hall.”

After two months in the air, the platform has more than 310 public institutions. In addition, about 1,800 meis registered in Contract+Brazil are already able to offer proposals and meet the demands of services available in your city. Almost 240 business opportunities were launched on the platform, and 57 of them have already been approved.
