The ninth round of the Brazilian Women's A1 Championship started in style. In the only game of Saturday night (3), São Paulo defeated Palmeiras 2-1, at Arena Barueri, in São Paulo, and reached the same 17 points of the rival in the table.
At the moment, Palmeiras is the third, a position ahead of Tricolor for scoring three more goals (21 against 18). Dudinha and Karla Alves – at 52 of the second stage – scored the goals for Sao Paulo, while Andressinha scored for Palmeiras.
